Samsung?s?User Agent Profile (UAProf) website reveals that the South Korean electronics giant may be preparing a line of tablets with the product code SM-P900. A Japanese blog called RBMen is credited for having discovered the information about the new tablets.

According to Sam Mobile, SM-P900 could well pertain to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 that is aimed at the high-end market segment. Sam Mobile reports that the SM-P900 appears to have a display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600?pixels. These tablets also run on ARM11 processors with a 1.4GHz clock speed. Likewise, the operating system is indicated to be Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
There would supposedly be three versions of the tablet: one that supports only 3G connectivity, called the SM-P900; another that supports only Wi-Fi, called the SM-P901; and lastly, one that is supports 3G, Wi-Fi, and LTE. Because of the presence of the letter P in the product code, the same blog speculates that the leaked line of tablets will not support the S-Pen stylus. Thus, the unannounced family of tablets will not be the successor of the Galaxy Note 10.1, which is also expected to be updated soon.
Sam Mobile says that Samsung could announce these tablets at IFA 2013 in Berlin, Germany this coming September, but it is equally possible that Samsung would choose to unveil the allegedly upcoming tablets outside of the IFA.
To date, there is limited information about these new tablets, but more leaks may arrive as IFA 2013 nears. In the meantime, what are your thoughts on the leaked spefications of the SM-P900?
